Has anyone here made use of services like eHarmony and found a friend/partner via the internet? Thoughts, reactions, etc., please.

i have not used eHarmony but my lady and i met online --- as far as i am concerned she is the only one for me --- and im not some dewy eyed teenager im a very cynical old man
Reply:i signed up my friend on eharmony because i saw all the commercials and thought she could meet a nice man on there. she was on there for about 4 months. well, the first month or so she was getting loads of matches.. then only one or two a week. the last month.. maybe one or two for the month. not sure what type of scam this is... but i was very disappointed. i thought dr. neil clark warren could find her a nice husband. i was wrong and i think my coaxing to join the site made her feel worse!
