Internet Dating/Relationships/Friends?

Have you met someone in person who you originally met online?

Have you dated someone who you met online?

Do you think it's right or wrong or both depending on the cicumstances?

How old are you? (I ask this for a few reasons, a)curious to know which age groups are opposed or in favour and b) I always find myself asking the question "I wonder how old she/he is" when I'm reading the responses.

And finally, what is your experience with online friends/dating/relationships?

Do you think it's right or wrong or both depending on the cicumstances? I think you have to be careful online just as you do in life.

And finally, what is your experience with online friends/dating/relationships? They can be good and bad, have ups and downs, just like any relationship.

great place to meet people!!!!
Reply:I dated a girl online from age 16-18. We did meet up quite a few times over the 2 1/2 years. I'll tell you now that I'm very happy the relationship is over and it's provided a valuable learning experience for me. I don't think we were compatible in the first place though.

I've been talking to another girl very cautiously lately and while we both acknowledge that we like each other, neither of us are able to really commit to a relationship right now so we're content to remain friends. She is considerably closer to me than the last relationship though, only about a three hour drive.
Reply:I was 19 when I met my current bf online... I'm 24 now. We now live together and things are still going great.
Reply:I just answered something close to this. Online dating to meeting up is like how blind dates are or speed dating or the random hookup, the steps are you meet someone, talk to them, get to know more of them to understand if you like to spend more time with them. Online dating is just the the sign of the times.

Ive had a cpl relationships that lasted over 2 yrs each. I did not tend to use it for dating but whats the harm in trying. I started dating wise through it when I was around my early 20's, now 29. met tons of new friends on here and mixed them up with friends around me and everyone meshes well.
