Reply:From personal experience, I think it's a joke. Try a professional dating service; it might cost more, but you get what you pay for. Most of the people I've met online were, for lack of a better saying, not there. Really: this one woman I met lied about everything except her location... And it's so easy for people to pretend you don't exist before you even meet them, so I discourage the whole online thing. Best to stick to real life.
Reply:Its a good way to meet people. You can meet just as many weirdos going to a bar. Try it out, be safe and cautious and keep an open mind. My sister married her internet date and got married a year later!
Reply:No, it is a good way to meet people if you are smart and do it safely - I have met the last 2 LTRs I've had online, and the one I am still in is 15 mos and going strong
Reply:Onlie dating is a great way to meet new people. You just have to remember that no matter what the other person says, they could be the 75 yr old pervert that lives down street. Just use your best judgement, if you decide to meet do it in public first, or with friends so you have a safety net. My g/f and I have been together for 4 1/2 yrs. and we met online. Be safe.
Reply:remember that the net is 80% BS, people will say, do and be anything behind the anonymity of a computer site.

internet dating is cool but beware of predators and fakes.

if you find someone that you like, make sure their profile has more than 1 photo and details on them are all answered (prefer not to say, i will ask you later and so on are entries of something not being right and hiding something)

ask for more photos of them, preferably current as in the last 30 days.

some people have fake pics, some people have real pic but they are 10 yrs old, you want to make sure you are meeting and interested in someone that is real and current as their picture shows.

if the other party asks too many personal questions that a normal date wouldnt ask you , beware...since when does a date prior to meeting ask for bank acct#, social security#, your address, and stuff????
Reply:personally i dont think thats right!! because how do you know the real him?!! unless if u guys have already met and are just chating on the meen time....but he should b the man and come tlk to you personally!
