I have had a go at online dating but it has failed? girls lead you on and don't reply when they say their intersted? what the? i have kept my profile honest.

I think it is the perfect opportunity to get to know someone's character, personality, spirit and intellect, because you haven't met and you're being influenced by what you're learning about this person and not by the way they look. (If you don't swap pics yet). I'd say, "Go for it" and "Good luck"!

Reply:Internet dating is as good as internet sex. You'll just be left wondering if this relationship really exists and is two-way. Internet dating doesn't work if you haven't met the person personally, but it does help to let you see a person's character and personality but honestly - that is as good as it gets.
Reply:i have tried it and no it dont work ur best of finding some one close to home who you can see more regular, the last thing you want to do is date some chick on line fall for her meet her and find out she is a big lie mate it wil hurt u more then anything stick to meeting some one in your local pub or something only date online as a loast resort, my advice to you is get out more to be frank...

Reply:Yes, well for somepeople it works. Just be carefull and if yo decide to meet, choose a public place and don't go to the persons home the first time. Also let other people know where you are and who you meet.

Reply:not really. unless both of you are entirely in love and you can possibly see each other personally. if you are on the opposite sides of the world then i don't think you stand a chance. and profiles in the public can be very unpredictable

Reply:No. Almost everybody does it for fun to get a good laugh. If you want to meet a quality person, get introduced from a trustworthy friend or join a singles group.
Reply:my sister in law met her husband that way but they are both kind of strange and proper/good at the same time. They are really happy together - singles problem solved etc.
Reply:not by my attempts.... lotta phonies out there just lookin' to make a buck off your CC#.... don't trust any email you get w/ a link to 'check them out' on some site you never been to before: they are pre-composed, mass mailed, and often entirely insincere. I'm not sure if there is even a woman behind a lot of them; aint hard to come accross a pic, ya know! There are some out there who are for real... the ratio is questionable! That whole womens lib thing has really tipped the scales out of balance if you ask me......O;)
