I do not lie, it's not part of who I am...however I am wondering if there is a way of telling friends and family of mine how I met my boyfriend without coming right out and saying we met on the internet. My immediate family didn't seem to mind when I told them, but I have other friends who give me this look like I was desperate or something, and my grandparents who hate the whole idea because it's unsafe. I'm not a huge advocate for online matching sites but it just sorta happened through a safe site when there was a free communication weekend. I guess the key question here is, how do I say I met him without lying?? and without saying I met him online??

But seriously, you shouldnt be embarrassed but if you are just tell them where you first met on your first date, movies, dinner, wherever it was..
