Do you consider internet dating sites cheating?

My boyfriend uses dating sites and chats with local girls. He says that he does it just for kicks and would never hook up with any of them. He does ask them out and flirt. He said it's not important enough to him to jeopardize our relationship and says he will quit. I do want him to, because it hurts me. I'm just curious what your feelings are about dating sites and also about myspace?

I believe it it cheating. Why would someone feel the need to flirt and ask someone else out, if they were already dating someone else. Too much talk can lead to other things. One day, someone will peak his interest, and he'll just HAVE to meet her. Tell him to stop or it's over. How would he feel if you did that?????
Reply:No way never. Anything that he wouldn't do around you (unless it's using the bathroom,etc) is considered cheating in my book. And that shouldn't even be the point it makes you feel bad that should be enough for him to want to stop, if he doesn't move on life is way to short to feel crap about something and never ever settle.

Its hurting you, you're in control her so tell him to stop. You deserve the respect. Dating sites are cool if you're single, if you're attached they can cause problems. If my man EVER pulled a stunt on me like THAT I would fix his business. Myspace is cool it depends how you use it. Facebook is better ;-). Bon Chance

even on myspace yahoo and others I mean as long as hes not flirting with other ppl then its just a friends thing and he shouldnt have to stop and also no dating that definatly is cheating
Reply:these sites are not cheating.nothing wrong with sites but people using these sites are usually using it with wrong intentions.as your bf is doing.
