Internet dating does it really work?

I met thru the yahoo personals ,well she connected to me and she says she loves me but the whole thing is so unreal to me cause i see pics of her but its not like they are real, I want to talk to her but she never gives me her # yes I did give mine could she just be leading me on. She asks for money and that worries me,could that be what this is all about the almighty dollar?

Sounds like to me she's using you! I don't personally see how you could "LOVE" someone (real love) with just chatting with them over the computer. I mean you've never actually seen them in person, and never talked to them on the phone. But, yet are asking them for money??? Sounds a little fishy to me. I say if all she's interested in is your money, then I'd be giving her the boot... or block from contacting you on Yahoo!!! Good Luck, and stay strong don't be giving out your money to someone that you don't even know if they are the real person!! It could be a man for all you know!!!
Reply:It's hard to trust someone you met from the internet. I am not saying everyone is a phony, you could also meet really sincere ones if you get lucky. But be very careful, especially if some1 asks for money.. never give out personal info about yourself like your address or telephone no., and never give out money to strangers. Even if she has shown you pic of herself, it could be someone else's pic, better insist she show herself on cam so you would know if she's really the one on pic. You can have fun on the net, meet really great good friends along the way, or have a romantic relationship, but don't ever let yourself get carried away and take the internet dating seriously or you might just end up getting hurt. Reply:DONT TRUST PPL THAT ASK FOR MONEY. I HAVE HAD SEVERAL FRIENDS THAT HAVE BEEN USED LIKE THAT. YOU CAN GO THROUGH A REOUTABLE DATING SERVICE ONLINE AND SOMETIMES MEET SOME GREAT PPL. JUST BE VERY CAREFUL. I MET MY HUSBAND ONLINE...HE IS A WONDERFUL MAN AND GREAT HUBBY. YOU JUST HAVE TO BE VERY CAREFUL THERE ARE A LOT OF BAD PPL OUT THERE. GOOD LUCK
