This one is more for women's opinions.
When a woman posts a profile on a site like match or yahoo personals and she gets a reply from a guy, is the assumption kindof that this guy is only writing to one woman at a time, her, or is the assumption that this guy could also be writing to more than one woman?
Reason I ask is I am pretty sure every woman I've wrote has probably had 50 to 100 other guys also write them and probably have narrowed that down to 3 or so guys they'd be interested in.
That dosen't really bother me since I'm not really expecting a committed relationship with someone I havn't even met yet but I kindof gather that some women don't really like the notion that a guy not only is writing to introduce himself to her but to a few other girls also.
Internet dating question?
When a guy writes the expectation is that he's emailing a lot of women. Once she starts dating him she expects that she will be one of the few that he narrowed her down too.
Reply:My friend signed up and paid a couple of those web dating sites. She actually only heard back from three...(eharmony)she said they wre all weird so she never replied to them. But i dont think she was open to it her mom told her it would be good for her..
Reply:Probably because some women are looking for actual relationships and the man pool in their area has run dry of all the good ones. So maybe they are hoping that a good one may come via internet. Which by the way I don't believe you'll find a good man online anyway.
