Internet dating wats ur views?

Well for me it worked, but remember even outside to meet someone you still take a chance, but over the net you can build up a relationship, at the end of the day its how honest you are with each other, and always met in a public place, and make sure someone knows where you are meeting, so be safe,""""

i'm on faceparty (not a dating website!) but a guy has asked me to meet him this weekend. I'm a single lass and have been seriously thinking about going. I will be very careful, but it's only like giving my number out to a stranger who i could meet out in a pub?
Reply:shocking
Reply:I would rather meet at a restaurant...why have a date on the internet.
Reply:Everyone has alot of negative reactions to it. But I believe it's no different than meeting someone in a bar or grocery store. Before meeting them in person, you can talk and get to know them a little. My personal experiences with it have been pretty good. It's all what you make of it. If you have an open mind and don't believe all the negative stuff, it can work for you. Go on some of these singles sites and you might be surprised how many people are on them. I saw a couple of ex-girlfriends on there...lol.
Reply:it doesn't work, its stupid

Reply:Not something I agree with, a bit dodgy.
Reply:Works for some IF one can move from home to be with another.
Reply:Wouldn`t if I were you!
Reply:Anyone that needs to stoop that low to date with someone they have not even seen in person is sad, scary and desperate. I think it is dangerous and part of the problem of everyone bashing myspace and things like that.

Reply:I would flirt online but never meet them no way no siree
Reply:Met loads of idiots and guys after one thing, was about to give up when I met my fiance now of 4 years, so I'm all for it :o) You just need to make sure you keep safety in mind when meeting up. But then I guess even your work colleague could turn out to be a serial killer... Personal safety should always be on your mind I supose...

I had a young daughter (pre-school age) at this point in time so I found it hard to socialise when most of my time was tied up with looking after her. The internet gave me an opportunity to meet new people and chat with them online, to (hopefully) get to know their real selves first before we met.
Reply:It is for bored housewives who has an husband that is Rep

and for fellows that want a one night stand or leg over so he can boast to his friends
Reply:Luv is luv...why does it matter people...over the Internet or not!?! WHERE IS THE LUV????
