Internet dating etiquette?

after meeting a guy online and having seen him for a month a total of 7 dates, things are going well, when i told him i was taking down my yahoo personals ad he told me that things were going a bit fast and he was going to leave his up for now. Should i be offended? what is a suggested period for when a personal ad should come down after both of us are meeting only eachother.

After he said he loved me and we slept together I thought it would be common courtesy to remove his profile, he didn't...I moved on. Was it really too much to expect?

If you both have gone out a total of 7 times and really like each other then it should be a "no brainer" the ads should come off (BOTH OF YOU).


Now if all 7 dates were just a hello how are you type of thing then - maybe he is not really interested in you as a dating partner.


BUT - If you have been kissing and other things then....


Your entering into a dating relationship and should be as a "regular" dating situation would be.





If it were me I would take my profile off after the first date - if things did not work out - I could just put it back on afterwards. Simple as that!
