You have a feeling you have been stood up, how long do you wait. Added You are meeting at a public place, drove yourself there, and forgot to get the other person's cell number..... so how long is long enough in case they were running behind, or something happened... or if it is just you got stood up?

The best place to meet for the first time is a restaurant. That way if she doesn't show up within ten minutes you can get a drink. Thirty minutes go by, get a dinner.
Reply:Personally, I go somewhere where I can amuse myself for a while on first dates. This way even 30 minutes is not too long. If I'm somewhere where I'm just standing there, I'll wait for 15 minutes. If the person hasn't skidded to a stop in front of me or at least called to make an excuse within that time, I'm gone.
