I've been chatting with a guy from overseas for about a year he sent me a gift . is it ok to accept is it safe

be very, very careful...i have experienced internet dating for about three years...using several different sites...i have to say i consider myself to be very fortunate to have come through it safely...it's a chance you take...i have met men from overseas through popular dating sites and have talked with scammers who wanted to send me gifts...i have also talked with a man that sent me a gift from korea and i eventually decided it was pretty scarry...in addtition i have also had actual dates with men here in the states...i have to say all in all you need to take extreme procautions and in the end...if you have to ask yourself the question "is this man safe?" then by all means back off...something is telling you this is not right...

Reply:I would be careful with anyone that is so far away let yourself be aware of his life and his daily routine you may find out he is married or something worse but he is far and he has the advantage of hiding things so keep your guard up and try to find out more about him ...love kara
Reply:i guess it depends i mean i you can accetpt the gift and if you ever feel like meeting him is a good idea then get a couple friends with you so that you know that you will be safe incase he is a weird one good luck

Reply:I would say yes the gift is safe. If you decide to meet him make sure you do not go alone or overseas to meet him. I have had very good and very bad experiences from the internet. Unfortunately people can say what ever they want to on the web and you will never know if it is true or not. Take your time. Don't jump but keep talking.
