Does internet dating really work? or is it purely used for 'phising'? has anyone actually met someone?

am I the only one who finds it impossible to meet genuine 'singles' on the net ? all I seem to get is people from overseas asking for money to pay for a 'meet'?

Oh well, i guess you need to meet the right person.


I have a couple of friends who met and have been in a relationship. But its 50 50. Sometimes it works, sometimes it doesn't. If you want to meet a genuine person, start by chatting with the person, take your time to understand the person, try to know all that you can and then you can gradguate to calling the person or verse verse. It could take 3-6months before you conclude. There r genuine people out there but you need to find them. Just as you are looking for someone geniune,someone is looking for you too.

I know of people who have ended up in relationships and even married... So, it does happen!!!

You just have to take time to learn how to sort the wheat from the chaff...
Reply:well i know someone who met a guy over the internet there was over 300 miles between them but now they are married and have kids together and are happy so yes you can meet some genuine just keep looking :-)
