Reply:Internet dating is as safe as you make it. Never give out personal info such as address, home phone etc... Just like any other friendship, you will need to give it time to get to know each other. But you also have to remember there are alot of people out there who will not be honest to you and will use the internet to get to people they would not normally be involved with in their every day lives. They could be predators, married, involved in criminal activities etc... Use your best judgment and if you do decided to meet fact to face, make it a public place and even bring a friend along, if the person you are meeting is not OK with this, then there is something wrong, DO NOT meet this person. You said at what age, if you are a teen ager and are having on-line chats with guys, then please be very selective and don't fall victim to a predator who thrives on the vulnerability of young girls. If you have been propositioned for sex or other things that make you uncomfortable, tell a parent or friend, and do not continue to communicate with this person. Good Luck and be Safe.
