After time. LOTS of time. I am a firm believer that internet dating can work. You will never know "for sure" that a person is interested until you meet them face to face, but if they continue to talk to you for long periods of time and are willing to put up with any of the rules that you may create to establish a raport and feel comfortable with him/her then they are more than likely interested in you as a person versus just getting "a lil some some".
There are also many voice software programs that allow the two of you to converse without actually meeting. I believe that hearing another person's voice makes it more real. If they will not talk to you via a computer how will they sit face to face with you and have a discussion?

Internet dating...how do you know if the guy is really interested??
Hmmm internet dating is hard because you are unable to read facial expressions and easy indicators that are seen in person. I would say if the guy is constanly wanting to talk to you and seems genuinly interested in your life and you in generally he probably likes you.

Reply:Besides emailing he calls everyday and not pc to pc calls... he makes arrangements to visit you or sends you a ticket.
Have you seen him via web cam? Is he the same of the pics, does his voice matches with the images you get?
Reply:I agree with Common Sense. This guy should be asking good questions about you and what you like to do. Just be careful when you do meet that it's in a public place and that you tell someone close to you where you're going. I found someone through internet dating and now we are married!!!
